When our youngest child passed away at age 5, my grief was all-consuming. I remember feeling almost paralyzed in doing even the smallest tasks. I knew that the only way to survive was by keeping tethered tightly to God, so prayer and studying His word were my daily nourishment. I began to realize something astonishing. Though physically aching from the intense grief, I had an overwhelming sense of peace and knowledge that God was with me. I learned firsthand that Grief and Peace could coexist. Thanks be to God for sending His peace through the Comforter.
